Subject-Wise Preparation Strategy
🔬 Physics Strategy
Focus on conceptual understanding over calculations. IAT tests "why" not "how many". Practice assertion-reason questions from Modern Physics, Electrostatics, and Optics. H.C. Verma's conceptual questions are excellent for IAT-level depth.
⚗️ Chemistry Strategy
NCERT is the backbone. Memorise organic reaction mechanisms and name reactions. For Inorganic, create concept maps for P-Block and D-Block. Biomolecules and Environmental Chemistry are scoring and relatively easy sections.
📐 Mathematics Strategy
IAT Math is moderate — NCERT + R.D. Sharma exercises cover it well. Prioritize Calculus (Limits, Derivatives, Integration), Probability, and Vectors. Unlike JEE, very complex multi-step problems are rare in IAT.
🌱 Biology Strategy
NCERT Class 11 & 12 is sufficient for 85%+ of Biology questions. Read every line including boxes, bold text, and diagrams. Cell Biology, Genetics, and Human Physiology have the highest weightage. Create one-page cheat sheets per chapter.
